Tell something about your family, your childhood and your experience in beauty pageants.
My family is a bit conservative. I have an older sister who lives in the UK. I have 3 half siblings from my father's side. My childhood was pretty normal, I never had dreams of becoming a model or taking part in pageants. I'm pretty new to the pageant world. I do feel that having experience in modeling made the transition into the pageant world go much smoother.

What is your motto? What does that motto mean to you?
My motto in life is that happiness is not a feeling, but a choice we make in our day to day lives.
Every choice me make leads up to a conclusion.

If you could change one thing about you, what would it be?
I don't feel that I would change a thing, nobody is perfect. I prefer to be thankful for what I have and who I am rather than focusing on what I don't have or like about myself. However I do believe it's good to keep improving ones self, working toward becoming a better you each day in every aspect of ones life.

What is in your bag right now?
Makeup kit, hand cream, agenda, 2 pen, hair brush, Vitamin C, Multivitamin and my wallet.

How are you preparing for the Miss Universe pageant?
I'm preparing by paying extra attention to every single detail, leaving no stone unturned.

What's your nickname?
I don't really have a nickname for myself but some of my friends like to call me Gilly.

What was the most embarrassing moment you ever had?
I'm really thinking hard about this question because I can’t really think of anything that made me feel mortified. I'm not sure if this is because I've never had a really embarrassing moment or if it's because I believe that nobody is perfect or if it's because I'm so resilient. Maybe it's a combination of all of the above.
